Please read this FAQ before sending us an email

This is a free site. We're busy. We are not travel agents or experts in the food industry. We cannot get you a deal at a restaurant. We do not know the recipe of a specific dish. We just write restaurant reviews because we feel a need to contribute valuable content to the web community at large. We don’t have time to do lengthy research for recipes and we cannot plan your stay in Toronto. We do not mind giving suggestions to places we’ve been, but our suggestions are purely based on our experience and our tastes. If you feel offended by any of our reviews, then we apologize, but each reviewer writes from a different perspective so please respect our opinions and please do not email us if you are offended by our review.

Q: I ate a wonderful dish at Canoe. Can you give me the recipe?

A: Sorry. We are not insiders to the recipes of some dishes at various restaurants. We review restaurants, but the job description doesn’t encompass calling up chefs and restaurants and asking for recipes. Call the restaurant or ask the server when you are there.

Q: I’ll be in Toronto for three days, August 14th, 15th and 16th. Can you recommend some places to go?

A: Sorry but we cannot plan your stay in Toronto. We are not tour guides. We can recommend a breakfast place or a great family-friendly place for dinner but we cannot plan your vacation.

Q: I love your site. Do you accept reviews? I am an aspiring food writer and I would like to write a review for your web site.

A: Hey, we're aspiring food writers too. Yes, we accept reviews. Just send us your review to reviews@torontobrunch.com. We'll definitely consider adding it to our database

Q: Hello, I am the owner of Sassafraz. How can I advertise my restaurant on your site? Will you come review us?

A: Sorry, we do not advertise restaurants on our web site. At present, we "promote" restaurants by advertising their web site. We also promote other web site using Google Ads (This is how the site is funded!). If you would like us to review your restaurant, then email us.

Q: Hello, I noticed you reviewed our restaurant. You should know that the restaurant has changed hands/is no longer in business/is doing business as/needs waitresses. Please update your site.

A: Send us an email. We will update the information (in red) as soon as possible.

Q: Hello, do you accept banner ads? We would like to advertise on your site.

A: Sorry, we only accept ads from Google.

Q: Dear Sir/Madam
Congratulations to you as we bring to your notice, the results of the Category "2" draws of CYBAL LOTTERY Program. We are happy to inform you that you have emerged a winner under the SECOUND Category, which is part of our promotional draws.

The draws were held on the 17th July 2005. Participants were selected through a computer ballot system drawn from 4,000,000 names/email addresses of individuals and companies from Africa, America, Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Middle East, and New Zealand as part of our International Promotions Program.

No ticket was sold. You/Your Company, attached with serial number 2005/0278 drew the lucky numbers 01206 and consequently won in the Category "2". You have therefore been awarded a lump sum pay out of $1,000,000.00 (ONE MILLION UNITED STATE DOLLARS) in cash, which is the winning payout for Category "2" winners.

This is from the total prize shared among the 5 international winners in this category. Your funds are now deposited with a reputable finance firm in the Netherlands insured with your FILE REFERENCE number, REF: NL/P2005-5955.

In your best interest and also to avoid mix up of numbers and names of any kind, we request that you keep the entire details of your award strictly from public notice until the process of transferring your claims has been completed, and your funds remitted to your account.

This is part of our security protocol to avoid double claiming or unscrupulous acts by participants/nonparticipants of this program. This lottery program was organized by our group of philanthropist promoted and sponsored by Mr. Bill Gates of Microsoft Inc, eminent personalities like the sultan of Brunei, Multi Choice and other corporate Organizations. This lottery program was organized to improving the use of computer software and for the benefit of every Microsoft user. To begin your claim, please contact your file processing officer.
